Wine Caps in the Morning

I'm parenting Wine Cap Mushrooms, starting with spawn from North Spore in Maine; and they are appearing in my compost pile which I didn't even inoculate. The cap tops are the color of Pinot Noir, with gilled undersides violet scented like

morning sex. And for breakfast yesterday, I ate a full flush of them in a three-egg omelette.
